GREAT NEWS! Phillip had successful heart surgery August 9! He was suffering from a congenital defect of the heart sometimes known as blue baby syndrome. It actually has three or four symptoms that are commonly experienced together. We are joyful to report that Phillip's surgery was successful and he is on the mend.
Little Phillip was abandoned behind a Yanhu government building when he was about eight months old. When found he was taken to Yuncheng Orphanage in the Shanxi Province where he lived until he came to Harmony House on June 26, 2010.
He is named for our friend Phillip Thomas of Port Orchard, WA.
