February 27: Little Doug is getting better! Prayers are making a difference. Lily reports that his rash is going away and his health is improving. Apparently allergies have been ruled out and they now believe his problem is a bacterial infection. Tests are continuing to determine the exact type and the best treatment.

Expenses are continuing to mount, but we can't for a moment let up in either testing or treating our baby Doug. We know that God will provide the funds needed to cover these costs and give this little guy a chance at life. God's rewards are great for those who help take care of His little ones.

February 22: We just learned that little Doug has developed rash over his whole body. They have ruled out several diseases and blood disorders but have still not found the root of his problem.

February 17: Our newest arrival at Harmony House, DOUG (Zheng Yinfei), who is just over a month old, has been in two different hospitals almost since birth because of intestinal problems for which they are unable to find answers. He has been suffering with diarrhea and fever, and his weight has dropped to less than six pounds.

US – There is an old saying that it is better to give a man a fishing pole than a fish.  The obvious meaning of this is that one gift helps the man to help himself.  If you would like to help us with the tools we need to help ourselves you can do so by helping us purchase a new (and much needed) laptop computer.  Additionally, we have another computer which needs repair and some software.  The cost for the two computers, service, and software we need is U.S.$1,400.

China - In China, routine dental care is not part of the cultural norm, particularly for villagers such as the sweet nannies who care for our children at Harmony House.  But we don’t just want to take care of children, we want to take care of our nannies and staff too.  The good news is that you can sponsor the cost of dental cleaning for our entire Chinese staff for only U.S.$300!
