Special Needs: Malformed right foot

GREAT NEWS! BENJAMIN HAS NOW BEEN UNITED WITH HIS FOREVER FAMILY!

Benjamin came to us from the Chengde Social Welfare Institute after he was found on August 21, 2008, behind the Industrial and Commercial Bank. His right foot is malformed, but he is without other disease.

Benjamin is a very sweet and congenial child who likes to help the other children. He is quick to try to bring new toys to Josiah when other children take his toys from him. He has a quiet spirit and is a very loving and handsome little guy. He gets around well in spite of his problem with his foot and enjoys special attention as all the children do.

He loves to be teased and to play games with you, and he has the most beautiful smile! He does not try to be first ahead of the other children but will climb up beside you if you sit where he can join you. Just catching his eye across the room brings a big smile to light up his face. Although not yet two, he seems very bright and attentive. He is content with whatever toys are available but, like most little boys, his favorites seem to be the trucks and graders that he can push around and dump things from the shovels.
