TREVOR HAS A FOREVER FAMILY!
The lump rises in your throat. You feel the hot tears spring to your eyes, ready to spill over and run down your cheeks. Another of our children has a Forever Family! Trevor is awaiting the final processing until his new parents can come for him.
No matter how many times it has happened before, the emotions are the same. One of our children has a family!! The bittersweet emotions follow. Soon our handsome, loveable little Trevor will be leaving us. But then reason kicks in, and we begin to thank God for a real family for Trevor.
From being found abandoned at a bus station as an infant, to enduring spina bifida surgery, to spending the first five and a half years of his life as an orphan--Trevor has a home! His final step in our Three Steps to Hope is being realized.
We are grateful to God for the beautiful family from Maryland who will soon be taking Trevor home.....what a word: HOME! We know that for Trevor it will be the most beautiful word he has ever heard.
We extend our sincere thanks to each of you who have been involved in Trevor's life, particularly those who have prayed for and helped provide support for him. Slight hydrocephalus
Trevor was found in the waiting room of a long distance bus station in Hebei province on July 2, 2004. He was born with spina bifida which was surgically repaired on September 1, 2004. His recovery has been excellent. He also has a slight case of hydrocephalus.
An adorable little boy, Trevor's nannies describe him as sincere, kind, and sensible. He is lively and optimistic and enjoys playing with other children. What is so sweet is that he shares his toys with other children and will help the other children at Harmony House if he sees that they need help. He doesn’t depend on the nannies or his teacher too much and loves school.
Trevor came to us from the Chengde Orphanage in Hebei province on December 2, 2008. He is named for Trevor Vieiria who went to heaven in the same month Trevor came to us.
Now 5 1/2 years old, Trevor is eager for his Forever Family to find him and take him home!
